Gotta make this quick, because they have a day game after a night game, and I have a day game after a night game.
(Yahoo doesn’t have a Zambrano HR picture for me to steal!)

There’s plenty of people you could throw in this; it’s not a breakaway category. No one’s close to Z on slugging, but his woeful amount of hits (’cause he’s been trying for home runs or nothing the last three months) might make this a tough bet. He’d be better off getting 2 singles than the 7th HR, though there’s like zero chance of that happening. They’re totally going to goof around to give him a chance to tie Fergie (like batting in the 7th last night, when he probably could’ve been lifted for a pinch hitter), but it just may work.
The Reds – how were the Reds in this? They’re not the Pirates, and they’re not going to make 6 errors every game, but they don’t look like a team that was on the fringes of the playoff race. I don’t know if no Griffey or people mailing in the last couple of weeks, but they’re a deal looking bunch of guys and I’d be mildly surprised if they rallied back to 500.
It feels strange how certain Dusty not coming back has become over the last two weeks. Thought now I sorta want to see Dusty and Hendry joke around, “yea, he’s coming back for next season”, just for the shock waves.
Either Marshall is out of the rotation, or he’s being pushed back to take the Walrond spot. Either outcome is fine by me.
