Anyone who’d like to slip me the WON story on Mistico next week would be awesome. I have a feeling it’s going to be more a “compare/contrast with my own thoughts” deal rather than learning anything exactly new, but it’s still neat to see anything lucha related expand out of the 2/3rds of a column after the show results. (Must be a slow week.)

I mentioned I was listening to podcasts to kill the time, right? It’s only because they added the functionality to iTunes. I didn’t listen before, because I wasn’t actually interested in any of them enough to get whatever software I needed to autodownload them.

Can’t say that I’m that excited about them now that they’re just a click away, either. They’re fine for killing time when I don’t feel like listening to music.
They don’t take up memory/bandwidth like a live stream on my computer would, and they’re free, which you gotta like.

But if they stopped producing tommorow, I’d live and forget about them three days later. They’re cheap fast food hamburgers, basically.

Maybe I’m listening to the wrong ones? Here’s the ones I’ve got iTunes tracking right now. (More info on all on iTunes, if you want it.)

– Baseball Prospectus Radio (annoying volume switches from taped -> live broadcasts, nice they edit out the commericals, wouldn’t mind hearing hour 2, but I guess it’s all live?)

– This Week In Tech (exTechTV people, but sometimes too many people to keep track of who’s who, especially since it’s a rotating group. Surprsingly underproduced for the tech abilities present – I was about to ditch them entirely when I had to put up with a 20 minute echo during episode 15 – but you get the impression they’re doing it quite bare boned. Since I just dip my toe in to this stuff, some of it it’s too hardcore for me to care, but you know they know what they’re talking about)

– Diggnation (geeks talking about the popular geek ‘social news’, as rated by users on their digg.com website. It should be kinda lame but it works, and really well. Maybe it’s because they drink during the broadcast? Probably my favorite of the group.)

– iTunes New Music Tuesday (this is just to confuse the iTunes people in to thinking I care what they’re pushing this week)

– Alternative Hip Hop Lounge (just looking for something to listen today. Not too bad from the one 15 minute mix I listened to)

Anyone else listen to anything at all?

(now i feel bad I typed all this and still didn’t talk about the wiki. Hey kids, what does thecubsfan DOT com SLASH lucha do? )

(I’m so regreting that in the morning.)
