2001 Index

2001’s index is completly over there, not quite including James yet, and I could use more detailed recaps for Backlash and Judgment Day, but still pretty complete. The World Tag, IC, Euro and Women’s Championship histories go back as far as 12/11/00. (WCW US Title and Cruiserweight Titles were done a long time ago. Not sure if I’ll do LH.) If you spot a mistake, let me know. I’ve still got to fine tune the style sheet to get all the recap colors showing up.

My Big Idea was to break these down into individual match records, but the overhead on doing it that way – given that I’ve done little PHP before – was a bit too daunting. I’ll get it, given enough time to kill. I did figure out a lot just doing this, so I need to just keep doing things.

The challenge now is to parse the 2002-2005 recaps into SQL records (or to quickly figure I’m better off just retying than programming something to do it), and then I can start doing more complex queries.

Before I do that and before I go onto ’00, my idea is to start on WCW Indexes. I’ve been wanting to do this with the DDT Digest recaps for some time, and plus I get a short year to do it with. Of course, even before that, I need to catch up on ’05, but whatever.
