about two months after giving up on them, and seven months after ordering them, NCAA First and Second Round Tournament tickets came in the mail today. Never been so happy to go to Indianapolis.
So awesome – we got stuck in a corner, but it’s one deck lower than the Bradley Center and half the price. You can’t beat saving something like 150-200 per ticket only because you sent in for tickets nine months before the game. (Guess I need to start checking for ’06 ones soon – Detroit’s the closest, which might make it tough.)
Edit: What kills me is that actually, after all that planning and waiting – you can still buy the tickets at pre-mark up prices from either Butler or from TicketMaster, though they weirdly seem to be GA. Huh.
I’m begging the committee not to give me Wisconsin again, but that’s the current lineup, according to ESPN. The annoying bandwangon Illini fans (who’ve got this clinched) will be bad enough.
